Some awesome games are coming out soon. These games will be out end of 2011 and 1st quarter of 2012. All of these games got awesome response at the E3 conference. A game that is not mentioned below thatyoushouldlookforwardtois Star Wars: The Old Republic. Once more info is out about the game, there will be a full post dedicated to it!
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is the next installment of the Ghost Recon franchise that will be released in March 2012. Future Soldier is a first person shooter that does not disappoint. It looks like it will be just as good as the previous Ghost Recons, if not better. And Xbox 360 users, if they have a Kinect, get a more interactive feel to the game. One of the coolest features is the weapon customization.Withthe Kinect you can physically scroll and choose or speak the command in order to select. Ultimately it looks like a great next chapter to the Ghost Recon series.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is another sequel and is due on November 8, 2011. Like the previous games Modern Warfare 3 is a first person shooter and it continues the story of MacTavish ashe,Price and Nikolai are on the run after killing U.S. Army Lieutenant Shepard. The Russians are continuing their invasion as well as invading England, France and Germany. The game looks epic. Players will play campaigns all over the world and the game’s developers have spent a lot of time making the cities look as accurate as possible to the real thing.The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a RPG destined to arrive on November 11, 2011. The game is about the return of the dragons and is set 200 years after Oblivion. The game is much like its predecessors in that the player can roam around the world, in this case Skyrim, and help towns or sabotage them. As users play they learn that they are the last of the Dovahkiin which is a race that can speak with the dragons. I’m not entirely sure what role this will play, but I’m sure this game will be just as interesting as the last ones.Alice: Madness Returns is the long awaited sequel to the Gothic styled game Alice. This game came out June 14, 2011, but it’s still an interesting game for gamers to check out. The game compared to its predecessor is not as grand. Though Alice: Madness Returns does take the player back to Wonderland, players will not get to see all the old characters of the Wonderland world. However the controls have improved and the graphics are still amazing. And if you are the type of player that appreciates a great story, you won’t be disappointed with Alice: Madness Returns.
Prototype 2 is looking amazing. It is set to be released in 2012. The game is much like its former in that it contains sandbox and standard game play. This time the main character is Sergeant James Heller. He has just come back to home from overseas to find that his country has been ravaged by the Blacklight Virus. It is his mission to destroy it once and for all and also find and destroy Alex Mercer. James Heller is just like Mercer. He can shape shift and take on memories as well as change his arms into weapons. One of the coolest new weapons in Prototype 2 is tendrils, which can reach out and smash enemies against each other or string them up across the city.
These games are all new titles and most of them won’t be out for a while. However if you get the chance to rent or buy, I strongly suggest it.
